This commitment is the key to Lawrence “Larry” Frankel’s success as a homebuilder. Frankel, Principal of Frankel Homes, is a second-generation builder continuing a tradition of excellence that has spanned nearly three decades. Larry’s father, Victor Frankel, founded Frankel Homes after leaving a successful commercial building business in New York City to move to Florida. Surrounded by the custom home building business nearly all his life, Larry knew it was inevitable that he would follow in his father’s footsteps. As Frankel says, “It was a natural progression.”
After graduating from Boston University, Frankel started working with his family to help take the pressure off of his father who, after years of hard work, was able to relinquish control over the business.
Over time, Frankel’s role in the family business grew along with his own family of five. Along the way, he learned all aspects of the industry. He started as a superintendent, moved on to project manager, then to president, and eventually owner.
Frankel is passionate about his work and states, “As a hands-on-builder who loves what he does, I thrill at the opportunity to create innovative designs.” To help achieve this goal, he believes that to remain competitive in a highly competitive market requires the cooperation of individuals who share the same vision. “We work together as a team and use the combination of our passion, vision and experience to create the home that will be built.”
For over 20 years, Frankel has successfully channeled his passion, energy and vision into custom home building. As owner for the last decade, he has continually strived to reach higher levels of excellence and produce homes that stand the test of time in terms of design and quality. He believes that building estate homes leaves a legacy and that every home Frankel builds represents the company and himself. He looks forward to another 20 years of building the finest homes in South Florida and leaving a legacy of very satisfied homeowners.
